JC had significantly better numbers than JJ his first 3 years.

He might have,..but he stunk it up pretty good too...that's what matters the most...

It's unrealistic for him to ring a door bell with his dick, injuns are notoriously meek in that department

It's not unrealistic for LSU to have an offense worth a shite.

LSU never needs a GREAT Qb. Look at what we did when we let JR throw all over the place for 3,000 yrds...

Then look at when we let MF throw for 300 more then JJ. Run..run..run..play LSU D, and pass when needed. Average QB play who can manage the clock will take LSU to BCS games

So we are not supposed to go after Blue Chip QB's??

That has got to be the dumbest statement I have read on this site!

Are you opposed to averaging more than 30 points/game?

No. But, I do like the traditional LSU running game.

You can still have the traditional running game and average over 30 points/game.

Jake Hester busted out for 1,000 yards in 2007 when we averaged 38 points/game.

I agree & think we can do it with a good passing game. I just don't like those 57-44 West Coast scores. Indicates a lack of good Defense. Looks like they're tossing Hail Mary's every other play. That's just not LSU Football.

I want to see OL & DL domination, pounding the Football, not watching QBs play Badminton.

Nobody is advocating that we become soft on defense.

It was very frustrating last year watching JJ bust out for 1400 yards in the air with only 7 tds.

Nobody is advocating abandoning the running game. In fact, I've had it up to here(holds hand near top of head)with people on here over the years talking about how we don't spread it out and stay in the air, while we have all these outstanding backs on the team.

You can have a very balanced offense all the while averaging over 30 points/game. We did it in 2003, 2006, and 2007.

If JJ does have his best year, then LSU will have a great year, BUT, he does not have to have a GREAT year for LSU to have a GREAT season.

If he just cuts his INTs in half and doubles his TD passes, he'll be a little better than average, and LSU will be nearly unstoppable.

That's all we can ask for...no one really expects JJ to earn the heisman this year, but just be 'improved' and more consistent!!
