Miles says he is going to make a change in the offense philosphy nest season and hopefully that's the case.

don't hold your breath. we don't need a philosophy change as much as we need a QB who will complete routine passes, make quicker decisions, and not go to total shite vs. good defenses.

last year and 06 should be huge regrets on miles part. Those were prime nc years and he blew both of them.

Pretty sure it was. He just wasn't the starter.

Im late to this thread, and I am not reading the previous 7 pages... quote:

no. they aren't.

JL was a very functional qb, he managed to qb our team to a 9-0 record and had very good numbers. I agree, he wasnt great, but the only game he struggled in was against the #1 Def. in the country. I just think he deserves the credit. JJ will look great in any drills, he has great natural talent... wait till he has to think and make decisions.

This. The "lee offense" was a Good efficient offense.

we need to open it up a bit more considering we have a way way way better qb.

even if mett doesnt live up to his hype he is still a legit sec caliber qb which is a step up from the lee/jj level.

Happy lee got to play this year, If it wasnt for the incident at beginning of year lee wouldn't have played and wouldn't have got a chance in the nfl, great opportunity

any concern about the lack of a big WR for you?

seems like more of a luxury than a necessity. Regardless, I think its easier to get by with a very good QB and mediocre WRs than the opposite.

well, IMO he QB'ed us to 8-0. can't give him credit for the 9th one. though JJ said Lee played "great".

JJ was cocky as hell too, he just didn't have the talent to back his arrogance up

The tackle he made after pitched it to the Bama LB is probably the best highlight of his career at LSU. Maybe he should consider being a safety.

Wright could surprise some people as well. I've seen the guy ball in a few scrimmages, if an unknown steps up he's the guy I'd pick.
