I don't think 8-4 will be acceptable, and should not be. In my opinion, Miles MUST win 9 games and the losses need to be competitive losses.
8 wins and people will be burning down his house. We have as much talent as anyone in the SEC. With improved QB play and improved defense, we SHOULD and COULD have won 9 games this year (see Bama, Ark, and probably UGA).
That said, anything less than 9-3 next year is unforgiveable in my eyes.
And in 2010 and 2011, we better have 10+ win seasons, competing for the SEC type years.
