Duplessis celebrated Senior Day last week so he won't be back.

What? We play about 3-4 freshman/Sophomores in the backfield right now. DBU continues and continues strong

I think the key is to make sure we keep Chavis at all costs. We will be young and inexperienced at DE and CB but the talent level is there. Keeping the Chief is critical.

D line will be week on the ends and inexperienced secondary will be detrimental to our ability to stop offenses. Our offense will have to be spectacular to contended. We might win the west if we beat Texas A&M but Bama will compete but be at more of a lose than us.

2008 was an abberation. Unless Chaivis mysteriously quits and Miles replaces him with Doug Mallory & Bradley Dale Peveto, it means nothing. BTW, 24 points given up a game in the SEC is still not really "bad" by most teams' standards.

We'll have plenty of experience in the secondary.

The defense will be different but not worse overall than the current one. I obciously expect some dropoff in the DL due to losing some awesome ends and a general lack of experience, but there will be talent there. The secondary will be as good if not better. LBs will be better and could be the strength of this defense for the first time in many years.

As you suggested, I believe much depends on the underclassmen we lose to the NFL draft (or other reasons). We could have very good depth or attrition and/or two or three injuries could lead to being thin at certain positions.

Pass rush won't be as good. The dline will take a step back but all other units should be as good or better.
