Next step for LSU Basketball.....

The next step is clear....the AD will think J. Jones is on the right path and needs more time. So, naturally, he will get a contract extension from Alleva and maybe an increase in salary to show support. Isn't that the MO for our AD?

Next step: Hire an actual basketball. Johnny Jones can recruit very well, but his defencies on the sidelines arena detriment to the program at this point

Johnny Jones should be fired ! Right now ! Once the bum is given his walking papers , he could unite with GoodOleLess and the team Less has in place for football. Just imagine the simplicity , the wear & tear on the AD and alumi would be reduced , and get a brilliant group to pull a bottom feeding Univeristy out of the shite, and lead them to the top, much like LSU. It somehow looks too good to be true. We might have to sweeten the deal and throw in Aleva for the kicker . Don't wait for PoorOleBagMan . Let him go now so he'll have plenty of time to land another great gig. He just needs to stay in touch w/GoodOleLess for a few years until the axe drops.

I honestly think this a possibility.
We were picked to finish 12th in the SEC. IMHO unrealistically low expectations based on factors other than relative talent.
Nonetheless it's out there. So if and when we finish 8th, 9th or 10th in the final conference standings we will have exceeded expectations. Overachieved. Are on the right track.
And really not enough folks of influence care about hoops to challenge that perception, and the ones who do got Johnny hired.
