Next People For TS Ring of Honor

It always seems a little strange that LSU only has three players in the Ring of Honor. All are very deserving. It’s just a little strange that it has been about 50 years since the last one wore the purple and gold
Who should be next?
Glen Dorsey. No brainer. The most decorated player in LSU history and the leader of a NC Team
Kevin Faulk. I believe he was in the top 5 in SEC rushing when he finished school. Multiple times all American. Helped change the culture at LSU
Allen Faneca. Two time All America. Totally dominant player. Dominant NFL career. Just voted into the NFL HOF
Michael Brooks. Dude was Devin White before there was a Devin White. Blew out his knee and still came back to be a dominate player and play in the NFL for years.
Steve Van Buren. Had a great LSU career and then was a monster as a pro. I believe also in the Pro HOF
Josh Reed. Bilernikoff Award winner. Had one of the greatest seasons in College football history
Other possibilities:
Kevin Mawae
Andrew Whitworth
Too soon, but the following are probably locks:
Joe Burrow
Jamar Chase
Tyrann Mathieu
Devin White

Every day that goes by that Joe Burrow doesn’t have a statue outside of that stadium is a waste.
He’s the largest heisman winner of all time. The greatest player in LSU history
It’s fricking stupid that it’s not already up.
And yeah he should be in the ring too. I don’t care how soon it is.
Also Jamar should never make it. I love him and he’s great but he quit when we needed him most. I wish him the best but he doesn’t deserve it.

Aren't there time limits for statues? Like a player has to be gone for a certain number of years before they can do that? JaMarr might deserve it, I understand that he quit but he had one of the most dominant seasons of all time on the most dominant offense ever. Not saying he will or won't make it but I think he'll atleast be in the conversation.

Interesting takes. Agree on Burrow. Why wait?
With Chase. He needs to express his love of the program like Matthieu has since he left LSU to overcome a shortened career. Both were truly brilliant when they were here

I think there’s a case to be made that waiting a few years makes it all the more special when they actually do it, both for Joe and the fans. Also with him do you do the statue and ROH at the same time? Shouldn’t we also wait I til there’s a big game on the same weekend the Bengals have a bye?
