New years six bowl

In order to get to a NY6 bowl game we need to be in the top 12 without having a conference champ outside the top 12. We currently sit at 15 do we need at least 3 teams ahead of us to stumble. Oregon st (#11) has Oregon (#6) and Washington (#5) left on their schedule so they will likely drop below us.
Oklahoma (#14) is currently tied in the third at BYU (on one of the worst turf fields I’ve ever seen)
Louisville (#10) at Miami trailed at the half way and just added a FG.
Penn State (#12) is hosting Rutgers and has struggled to put them away only leading by 7 late in the third.
Who do you think is gonna lose do we can get our NY6 bowl bid?

We aren’t jumping 1 loss Washington. Unlikely to jump Oregon.

Impossible. We have 3 losses and we have exactly 0 quality wins. 1 if you want to count MO.

Stop talking in extremes when you don’t know for certain. In 2018 LSU got into a NY6 at 9-3. If LSU gets into the Top 11 it’s actually very possible. There are a couple teams right in front of LSU who could lose today.

I wasn’t suggesting that we would jump either of them. I was saying that Oregon St will lose to one of them and drop behind us.

Probably need to get to 10. A G5 school automatically gets in and the highest ranked ACC team not in CFP will make it to the Orange Bowl. That’s assuming FSU makes the CFP.

BYU has a grass field not turf. That’s what happens to grass in cold weather climates, it goes dormant. Looks like they haven’t cut it in a while also, probably to negate OU’s speed.

-Miami will beat Louisville

-Florida will beat Mizzou
LSU will be #11 Tuesday and in position to make a NY6 bowl with a win over A&M

(I actually do think Miami and Washington will win getting us to 13, I’m wishful thinking on OU and Mizzou losing)
