Prior to having kids I don't know that his stutter would have hit me like it did watching that video. Thats such a tough thing to deal with especially as a child just trying to fit in with his peers. Mad respect for him and I hope he has an incredible season!!!

God bless that young man. I pray he has an amazing year on and off the field in Baton Rouge. If football doesn't work out, I'm sure that he will land on his feet with his work ethic and attitude. Really enjoyed watching the episode.

Dude started college in 2017. He may be on the Stetson Bennett level of collegiate experience! Hope he comes in this year and dominates in the secondary.

Gotta be extremely tough growing up in this world without feeling like you can communicate effectively.

You can tell how much even the mention of his father, brother and grandfather exasperates the problem. Every time he mentioned "loss" it really became obvious.

Thx for the post, that was humbling video. Like many others, I’m hoping he gets a chance and balls out. Video says he started his career at McNeese, is he from Louisiana?

Sam might be one of my new favorite players. Don’t give a damn what he can do on the field, guy has persevered more at a young age than anybody should have to. Glad to have him and hope he has a great year!
