New England Visitors… Quick Update

A quick note & Will update more later.
First, I still need a couple of recovery days as I started feeling sick Thursday evening & spent Saturday literally shivering even though it was 92 & I was sweating bullets. But I was safe, did a lot of hand washing, did my best not to make anyone ill (short of wearing a mask in public) - so my apologies up front. But I went Saturday without a drop of alcohol. Just pounding Powerade & water all day. Apologies for being out in public while sick but I wasn’t missing this. If I got any of you ill, DayQuil on me.
Second, I have lots of video & I am trying to cut it up to put it on YouTube or socials. Barring that I posted some stuff to Twitter if you are interested LINK
Now that you all have my face & name. Please be kind.
Third, the campus, you all, the party, the game, the experience… AMAZING!!!
Fourth, we will definitely be back!!!

I met some guys from Toronto on Saturday, making a bucket list trip. Seemed like they were having a ball.

I saw a bunch of different social media & folks from all over posting from the game. That social media account from Germany, Freddy, who went viral for his World Cup journey through the South, another prominent SM guy from the UK who had never been to college football.
Not sure if “great” minds think alike is a stretch… so let’s call it a bunch of dudes having good taste when it comes to a good time.

Also… getting out of there was CRAZZZZYYYY.
We stayed just a couple miles away up S. Acadia…. But we ended up in regions of Louisiana that we WERE NOT expecting.
Groups of students just walking on the side of the “highway” MILES from campus.
Then Google Maps reroutes us & we ended up in some back road, to a neighborhood, & then turned into being in the middle of a bar parking lot with drunk undergrads all around. A group of 3 tried to get in the car because they asked (very politely but also very drunkenly) for a ride to another bar. They backed off when I told them I’m from Connecticut & have NO IDEA where they are talking about.
All fantastic memories.
