As bad as you’ve been, you have to go Evans up 7-3 or 7-4. That’s a chance to shut a team down and win. He could have gone the distance from that point.

We have talent, but you can see the gap. And some of it comes from composure in situations; which is difficult to eval. Its ok to have some off years, we will be back and kicking arse eventually.

Slapping the first baseman in the nuts when raising a hand for a timeout while you’re still on the ground after diving back on a pick off attempt can incapacitate a man for a little while and looks like an accident.
