There was a thread like this about a month ago. nearly the exact same helmet too. It's not real. It's definitely fake. Numbers are different, chin strap is different, and the decals aren't put on right. Most notably the Louisiana flag and the Danger sticker don't line up. On LSU helmets, those all line up. Also the face mask is way to dark. Almost looks navy blue. A cool replica if it's cheap, but it definitely isn't real.

I believe Ware wears mostly the Schutt helmets. That is a Revolution helmet.

In LSU's helmets, I'm pretty sure the Louisiana and American flag are right over each other. Not one on the same side of the danger sticker like this one.

And while we're on the subject of helmets, I'm so glad LSU doesn't do the stupid "big-play" stickers. It seems so middle school and I don't know why college teams use these...

The LSU and tiger decal are all one sticker on the real helmets. The stickers in the back are not in the standard position. Also LSU does not use a purple chinstrap

So should the purple chin strap be a deal breaker? Looking at pics on google, helmet seems right. Decals seem to be in the proper locations. Is there something else that I may be missing?

Second one definitely looks more legit. But do you really want the JJ helmet from the biggest and worst game he's ever played? IDK about that purple chin strap. That might have been added later, but everything else looks right.

The second one looks legit. But I don't see any value in a back-up helmet of a player who played the worst game if his life in the National Title. Wouldn't be anything to brag about that's for sure.

2nd helmet has an Adams chinstrap and I dont remember any of the players wearing them. All i remember them wearing was riddell especially Jefferson. I may be wrong but thats my assessment.
