Need help following the NC game while in Africa!

Made a terrible blunder back in November when I scheduled a trip to Zambia in mid January without realizing the NC game would be on the 9th. I'd appreciate any and all help in figuring out a way to watch the game via internet or at least follow it on ESPN gametrack. I will be in Ndola,Zambia and might, just might, have internet access, although it will be pretty weak and subject to interuptions. Game will start at about 3:30am local time there, but we don't mind that part. My wife and I are LSU alums (class of 73) and bleed purple and gold. Thanks in advance.

My experience with espn3 is they won't stream to IPs outside the USA. You could try Justintv.com It'll cost you $9.95 US but I've used it this past fall from Mexico and several Caribe Islands... You'll need a good connection tho.

Stay home, don't think you're missing much in Africa.

Your old arse has no chance of figuring out the internets well enough to catch this game live. 3:30 shouldn't be an issue since y'all are probably in bed before prime time television even gets going. ESPN is this sports network, they posts live scores...nevermind.

Have used ESPN.com many times here in the states to watch and/or follow games when not at a tv. Will look into the Justintv.com route too.

We actually are pretty astute using the "internets" We go to east Africa every year and take part in very fulfilling mission work. Oh yeah - Have $4600 in non-refundable plane tickets, so staying home isn't an option.

It's a free service, but if u don't buy the upgrade, u get dumped every 2 or 3 minutes. You can cancel it online immediately after ur thru. Actually it's justin.tv, but if u type in justintv.com u end up there anyway.

That was supposed to be funny. Jeez.
I thought it was over the top enough that the sarcasm would come through, but I guess not.
At least I picked a "Hey look at me" thread to do it in.

Looks good, but the $299.95 price tag doesn't.

I know that when I went to Luanda, Angola there was no problem receiving ESPN and ESPN2 on TV from the states. Since so many Americans work West Africa, they are semi-accomodating. In regards to the Internet in Luanda and Cabinda, both were wireless but not fast enough to download video. I hope this helps.

www.firstrowsports.tv I used it to watch the arkansas game while in honduras. its pretty good and free. All of the other sites like that were shut down. maybe it will still work by then.

It will pay for itself over time. It's not like you have to throw it away after you watch the game. Besides, if you can afford $4600 worth of plane tickets $300 should be too much of a stretch.
Another option is to charge the locals like 7 grains of rice each to watch the game.
