Do you think we would get the AP title
No. What power does the NCAA have to make an independent organization of media express an opinion on who the best team in the country was seven years ago that is different from the opinion they expressed seven years ago? The NCAA does not award, nor does it regulate, the AP poll's "national championship".

would they require reggie to return the heisman he won?
Again, no. The NCAA does not award, nor does it regulate, the Heisman Trophy.

Not to mention the fact that he conveniently left out that a good number of AP writers still voted for LSU

NCAA to put the hammer on Bush and USC? Give LSU AP Title?
It's the EXACT opposite. The fact that the AP was part of the BCS and obligated to vote for the BCS champion and still voted differently means it's the most worthy title of the decade. Nothing was forced or bound by contract. They voted purely with what their eyes told them by the peformances on the field.
Compare to the "2003 BCS title" where the coaches were FORCED to vote for the BCS champion without thought or opinion...even then 3 coaches STILL voted for USC despite being contractually obligated to vote for LSU. That year was a season of two champions, what made by contract and forced and one made by hearts and minds. That makes 2003 AP title the most legit opinion poll of the messed up political forced voting BCS era!
What about all the sportswriters who voted for LSU over USC, or do they count?
And what happened in '04? USC won both the BSC and AP National Championships. But NO ONE ever mentions USC's "04 AP National Championship," just """""""""""""""""""""BCS""""""""""""""""""""title.
Also, LSU was ranked #2 before the bowl games, and beat the #1 team in thier bowl game/BCS Title game. USC was ranked #3 in the BCS and beat a lower ranked Michigan team in the Rose. How does USC jump LSU ???????????????????????
And what's pure folly is that LSU was ranked """"""""""""AHEAD""""""""""" of USC until they lost to Florida, because USC had lost EARLIER. If LSU had lost earlier instead of USC, it would have been reversed.
The """""""""ONLY"""""""" reason USC was EVER ranked ahead of LSU in the AP poll is because they LOST EARLIER than LSU did. Period.

Don't get your panties in a wad. Nothing serious will come of this. If USC gets anything it will be like 6 weeks probation and the loss of a quart of Gatorade for a week.
ESPN and the networks won't stand for it. There is too big of a market in California and LA in particular for the NCAA to get serious with any punishment.
