It does say there are three possible Level 2 violations, but doesn't say if those may have occured under Miles or Gundy.
Bet this gets all kinds of coverage

Just like Elliot Porter and the grey shirt 'processed' scandal.

Well you can book it that if there is any way they can put it on Miles OSU will do it. The OSU folks hate Miles with a passion just like some Tigers hate Saban, because Miles spurned them for LSU just like Saban spurned us for his chance at the NFL. What both of them did that can't be denied by anyone with a brain is that they left their former programs in much better shape than they found them.
Eta: thayer Evans is boomer sooner little b**** and SI should be completely ashamed of that story.

The whole series was a flop, and I'd say that regardless of who stood to be hurt by it.

Well, according to OSU version of TD which is Orangepower the drug testing allegations apply to the years 2007 - 2013 so Miles had nothing to do with it. I can't find the dates pertaining to the hostess allegations yet.

This was like a hundred page thread when the allegations broke.
Sigh.

LSU fans don't hate Saban because he left LSU for the NFL. They hate him because he went to LSU's archrival, Alabama.

Everybody, media included, said the story was weak when it came out.

I cancelled SI after that BS story!

It's not the same thing. I wasn't mad at Saban at all until he coached Alabama. It would not have bothered me at all if he returned to college and coached anyone outside the SEC West or maybe Florida.

What little credibility SI had left was effectively destroyed with this shitshow of a "story".
The very definition of hack journalism.

Hostess as in the twinkie company? Are those performance-enhancers?

What were you hearing/reading?
It was essentially debunked and/or people called into question most every important storyline at the very outset. Didn't they not even release all the parts of the story or release part of it way later than expected?

Thayer Evans was immediately exposed for who and what he is; but, SI put their Pulitzer winning writer's name on the byline next to Boomer sooner's and sent him out to assure the skeptics that he would never trump up a story. The sports media all regurgitated the story knowing full well it was mostly mud raking and it ran for days. They will all barely mention that it was mostly much ado about nothing.

This is not surprising – that story smelled of desperation from day one. They were relying entirely on unsubstantiated claims from guys who had serious axes to grind, and any interviewee who had anything remotely positive to say was simply ignored and not quoted in the story. I think Evans knew he had made promises of some great scoop he couldn't follow up on, and he was desperate to get something, anything that would justify all the hype.
