Morning alone
When you come home I breathe a little faster
Every time we are together
It'd never be the same If you're not here
How can you stay away for so long
Why can't we stay together
Give me a reason give me a reason

If Vandy beats TAMU
I think Vandy WILL beat A&M, but this is all meaningless unless LSU beats Kentucky. Unless that happens, all this tourney talk will be as vapid as Trump's bid for the White House.

Frankly, if we falter, I will be oddly exited about the NIT. We'd have abother home game or two and could really win it.
Don't get me wrong, NCAA or bust. But a good NIT home game will help me lick my wounds. Dissapointing, but oddly exciting, like when you finally found out that you liked Broccoli

I think you left out a word in here, but otherwise this is an awesome summary of what we need to be pulling for.

Texas tech is on a 2 game skid. They play K-state tomorrow at home on senior day. If they falter here, they could be giving up their spot in the dance.
It really is mind boggling how bad the bubble is this year. If ever there were a year to get in when you dont have the typical NCAA resume, this is it.
The committee is gonna have a hard time seeding 8-12. There will be tons of head scratchers and deserving teams (relative to this year's mess) left out. Its all about making that final push/lasting impression

Just looking at that. If they win tomorrow, they cannot afford to lose the first one in Nashville.

Lunardi has us in the last four out (#4).

How do you find that on mobile?

Funny he has Uconn last 4 in. They are on a 2 game skid and have lost 3 of 4 to SMU,UH, and Cinci. They got arse blasted by 25 last night. IDGAF what their RPI is thats garbage

Just looking at teams in front of us, a win tomorrow moves us in front of all of those teams.

He has 3 teams in the American conference sitting right above us Tulsa, Cincy, and UCONN. That be a conference tourney to keep a close eye on. Also Ohio St and Michigan from the Big 10 is 2 teams that should be trending downward. Ohio St goes to Michigan St this week, Michigan host Iowa and have announced their best player Lavert is out the remainder of the season. I'm banking on Oregon St losing at UCLA this weekend. Gonzaga is an interesting team, best case scenario is that it's a one bid league and either them or St. Mary's win the conference tourney and get in. LSU is a very live dog right now. They win Saturday and I believe the projections will have them in the last 4 bye category. Also it wouldn't shock me if South Carolina loses at Arkansas but I think even if they do that and lose their first game of the conference tourney they'll probably still be safe due to the amount of wins they've piled up. But it could get very dicey for them if they're not careful.

The American is an interesting one, since its best team isn't eligible and the others in the mix are bubble teams. Best case, Cincinnati gets the auto bid and the others crash and burn. Cincy finishes the regular season with SMU, so a loss wouldn't hurt them as much as UConn or Tulsa.

Agreed. LSU's RPI sucks, and there isn't much they can do about it now. However, if, IF, they upset UK tomorrow, then they would be 4-2 vs. the top-50 (possibly 5-2 if UF can somehow squeeze in). None of the other bubble teams will have that good a record vs. the "best teams in the country" (according to the RPI)
LSU's argument would then be "judge us by how we performed against the best of the best", not against bad teams when 2 key players were out." LSU had several ugly losses last season. However, LSU was at their best vs. the best.
If the tournament looks at "who you beat" more than any other factor (and I think they do), then with a win tomorrow LSU would have a VERY compelling argument relative to the other "bubble teams"
