Actually LSU would likely be the 6th team taken from the SEC imo, so we definitely don't need to worry.

Georgia will be ineligible, as are Auburn, UK, and UT. Also, LSU would go ahead of Ole Miss and MSU, given our series victories over them and our RPI.

if UAB beats memphis and Rice beats UCF all 3 teams will be 2-1 (and 1-1 against the other two clubs). Too lazy to look up pool play tiebreakers. Can anyone tell me who from that side will be playing Houston in the championship. Hopefully not UAB.

so basically that means the winner of the rice/ucf game will face Houston in the championship. UAB has no chance.

Thanks for the info.

I don't know if this has been covered, but Western Kentucky can't make the final. They're done.

UALR is in one final, meaning Troy and WKU's game later today is meaningless for WKU. Troy might want to win that one just to be safe but they won the regular season title so they're more than likely in a regional with an RPI of 52.

Cajuns' loss yesterday dropped the to 68 so they need these to happen:

Come back to beat ASU, down 2-0 in the 8th.
FIU to beat South Al today.
ASU to beat South Al tomorrow.
Florida Atlantic's game against UALR tomorrow is meaningless in the tournament. FAU's RPI is 43, they're safely in as long as we don't win the tournament.
Cajuns would then need to beat FIU tomorrow to get into the finals vs UALR.

Cajuns lose. You can eliminate us and WKU. You can all but lock in FIU, FAU, and Troy now.

We weren't going to win any games in a regional anyway. We swing the bat like armless orphans.

Kent St got knocked out of the MAC tourney, but they are a near lock for an at-large. That's going to take away a bubble spot because that should have been a one-bid league if Kent would have taken care of business.

Big East Tournament is one to watch. UConn got thrown into the losers bracket last night.

Also taking a look at the Atlantic Sun. The #6 seed Belmont is in the championship and has to be beaten twice. Stetson is sure to get an at large bid from that league.

Agreed i just think we're a little overconfident about getting in. It's 60-40 in favor of lsu being in imo
