The problem isn't that softball had props ... the problem is they had 2738382992 of them. When you abuse fun things, fun gets taken away.

when they have to resort to those kind of antics, clearly there's not enough happening in the actual game to hold their interest.

Find a new sport where, you know, stuff actually happens.

I wouldn't say that. I think its just kids being kids ... but the NCAA does want at least a hint of professionalism at their events.

So now you advocate just get rid of softball. smh
I guess the only reason you're even in this thread is finding something to be contrary about.

I haven't forgotten,18 I consider an adult. But my point was and is losing isn't fun. If their mindset is to go out and have fun then they have the wrong mindset. Coaches don't get to keep their jobs because their players are having fun.

I think you may overreact a lil lot. Being the age of 18 is not even close to being an adult other than leagally. These are kids, man. They are not old, crusty know-it-alls, ya follow?

Nobody has said that their ultimate goal is not winning. Nobody is in danger of losing their job. Settle down, chicken little!

Girls just wanna have fun!

no, my 11 year old daughter plays softball. But not much happens, so the chants take over. They have fun, so I'm happy, but with college players, I think all the antics seem silly. Just my opinion.

And I do nothing in life just to be "contrary." I speak my mind, good or bad. But it's always my true feelings, not trying to be a contrarian.

I feel like a lot of people in this thread are missing the big picture here

I bet half the posters haven't watched a single softball game.

The girl in the Tigers hat looks Photoshopped in.

The background looks like they're sitting below court level at Vanderbilt's Memorial Gym.

Overall, the set of pictures makes me
