As evidenced by the division on this board regarding the topic...it will divide the fan base.

Bad idea imo.

A divided fan base is to be expected when politics is allowed into the game. Especially since anyone with a brain understands that this patch wearing doesn’t apply to all messages.

And yes a lot of you should consider other hobbies. A lot of you fish, drink beer, watch sports, and watch the news. Maybe life has more to offer

Here here my brother!

What they don’t get is that the teams are primarily AA and don’t align themselves with 99% of them no matter what Candice Owens horseshite they latch on to.

The threats of walking away are always driven by this belief the target organization will somehow suffer.......it won’t. Especially the NFL teams who’s fan bases are primarily urban based. Electoral colleges don’t apply in these circumstances.

Can you name one single “right” under the law men have that women do not? Just one. Going to own my conservative friends with this once you respond with an extremely sexist law that doesn’t apply to women. They are always saying everyone is equal under the law. Thanks in advance!

College athletics is asking fir a huge decline if this is implemented IMHO...

I have no racist bone in my body. BUT, to those who constantly bring up color color color, I believe are racist. If you see color, then you are making a decision based upon someone's color and not their character. When I hire someone, or decide to make a new friend, I care less about their race or gender, only their ability and/or character.

READ some MLK and maybe you will see the truth!

I believe you. Thing is, there are many who do see it [color/race] and while they don't treat them in an outwardly negative manner, that innate prejudice is there. Many also convince themselves they aren't prejudice as evidenced by there "black friends" and such, but they still have deeply rooted things that remain. Are they to be blamed? Not really. Many people are trying, yet its a hard systemic thing to recognize much less break.

What sets things further back is the recoil folks get from the true intent of BLM.......granted, that true intent is bastardized by many on that side (i.e. anarchists, Antifa, assholes, etc.).

And, to further muddy the water, we are in an election year in a political climate that has become insanely polarized.

Right now, everyone is angry, bitter, jaded, justified, fed up, resentful, etc. Too few on all sides are willing to do just as Christ teaches.

At times, I am as guilty as any other a-hole/mother fricker/cuck/snowflake around. no one is immune to these times.

It’s actually quite the opposite. Some of us prefer not to have everything revolve around politics.
