I don't know who this person is using the Armanti Edwards screen name but they are not a true representative of Appalachian State. Nearly all of our fans will be enthusiastic about the game but will also have the common sense and manners to act like mature adults. Now back to the thread's real topic.
I'm not a homer, nor am I trying to start some crap, but to refer to the FBS division as REAL football is absurd. I realize that we are not in the same division, conference, etc that you are. However, the game is played just as hard, competitively and passionately as it is in the SEC, PAC 10, ACC, etc. So with that being said I would say that Pittman is not the only COLLEGE player with three rings. I will concede that he would be the only FBS player with three.

The Amanti Edwards guy is probably an 11 year old that's bored. Sounds like it, anyway.
Those of you ASU fans that come to the game can expect a good time. You'll hear "Tiger Bait" chants all over the place but if you walk up to the tailgaters that are chanting it, odds are they'll hand you a beer and a bowl of food that's better than anything you've ever put in your mouth before.
Just remember it's all in good fun. There's nothing like college football, and no place like Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night. I just wish it was a 7 PM kickoff instead of a 4 PM kickoff!

Yeah I realize the A.E. person is not a real football fan nor did they play football. Otherwise they wouldn't make comments like those.
I wish I could make the game but it doesn't look like I can due to money. Hard to be a non-traditional student and come down. I was really looking forward to partying with you guys.

3 words: LOWER TALENT LEVEL
dont say this one could start for this team or this one got drafted here, because in reality the overall talent level of the FCS is lower than the FBS

Yes, my original comments about Pittmans 3 rings was only to be associated with Div I football.
Div II records are completely non existent when debating college football, they hold no leverage for argumentative purposes!

I firmly believe ASU could still make some noise in a mid-major conference...thats a tribute to how good their program is. Not saying they could win at a mid-major level, but they wouldn't finish last that's for sure.
ASU fans, be prepared for a good thick layer of sarcasm being thrown your way...the best thing to do is just throw it back.
