IF?? no you have to take 269. its not a choice.

Compared to Nashville, Memphis is nothing in terms of traffic. There are more cops out these days, but they never pull anyone over unless they are running 80 or over.

269 is more convenient. It of course opened right after I stopped going up to Nashville for work. I can almost hit it with a rock from my house.

It’s still worth going home through Memphis on Sunday to get good BBQ. There’s almost no traffic here on Sunday afternoons.

was next to a bunch of girls in string bikinis in a 'swimming pool' bus with plexiglass walls this past weekend

that was new.

Yeah, I saw them right around Jackalope/Party Fowl in the hot tub car and thought to myself, "how the hell is that legal?" If someone runs a red light and t-bones into them, they are all toast.

Also, I wish the city would work to "confine" them to the downtown region (e.g., these party busses must stay within Rosa Parks, Church, and Korean Vets).

I would suggest waiting... that is what I am going to do and expect ticket prices to keep falling. The UGA prices aren't really a fair comparison. UGA fans come here in droves since it's only a few hours away. Add in that this year was a holiday weekend and the season opener and demand from UGA fans was next level driving prices way up.

can we just call it? downtown nashville inside 40/65/265 is a shitshow on the weekend and you're better off on foot. i wouldn't even try bringing a car into downtown fri/sat afternoon or evening.

Maybe after LSU weekend. We have one picking up/dropping off in front of the house.

It’s bad down there everyday. I spent the better part of two years doing contract work at Bridgestone Arena. We came in and left early so it would be tolerable, but it was still bad last year and in 2017. Getting out and to the Interstate to go home on Fridays was a dog fight.

how's your schedule look?

Probably pretty tight. I get in Friday evening around 6:30. You have an incognito email? I'll shoot you my number.
