In regards to competition, the Manning brothers didn't exactly face stellar competition at Newman but they still managed to do well.......

not needed. how's his accuracy? release? can he read a d? all our past greats struggled reading D's early on. I expect him no different.

Ive seen multiple smart arse remarks like yours. All hes shown me throughout spring is that he's a gamer

That was in no way a knock against the kid, it was more aimed at the people on here who jump from player to player as who's going to be our next savior. Like having a shiny new toy to post about every year.

The pressure of a spring game is too much for etling. He melted against Bama in a home game where he threw 3 or 4 balls to wide open receivers in the dirt on 3rd down. Costing us any chance to win.

This is a rebuilding year. Roll with Narcisse. We ain't winning the west this year anyway. Get big Jr. Some experience.

But a kid with major injuries to both legs won't. If the only knock on Brennan is weight, he will get a chance

I know two guys that have had ACL surgery and swear that the knees that were cut on are way stronger than the other. That hamstring portion they use for the ACL is legit.

Amen. That was a STELLAR game by our OL - it wasn't like DE had Gumps in his face EVERY time he dropped back or anything.

Our OL play that game proved to the world that they wanted COE to get the job, no doubt about it.

Yep if Brennan backers are relying on the idea that Narcisse won't stay healthy just because he's had 2 ACL injuries, they're going to be in for a rude awakening. From what I've seen he hasn't lost a step

Anyone else see him not complete a pass in about 8 attempts in pregame warmups?

Just me?

I seriously think Brennan has a shot. I can see him either 1st or 2nd in the pack by the time the season comes around

At passing efficiency, yes. As far as avoiding the rush and creating plays, running ability, athleticism, and arm strength, Narcisse is superior.
