Flott, Ward or Jones will have their chance.

But Soni would be the most needed to step up. We need every one of our 10 DL playing this year. Rotation is going to be key, like it hsould be every year.

Stephen Sullivan may be the breakout star. 6’7 250 with WR speed.

I wouldn’t really call Palmer overlooked. He was a 5 star on rivals, and highly ranked according to other sites. Maybe just overlooked because of the in-State guys like Thomas, Stingley, Emery. In that case I’ll say Raydarious Jones.

Doesn’t help that Soni missed all of summer workouts

So I think that Emory will have the bigger impact. I think that Flott has my vote for Mysterious star. We always have a guy that anyone other then an LSU fan has no idea who they are. Flott will be our match-up corner for 4 and 5 wide wr teams. He will battle for a starting spot next year. This is nothing new for how great our DBs have been. He has my vote!

I’m expecting Jefferson to be the second coming of OBJ. People talking about burrow like 40:1 heisman? That’s means Jeff goes for 1400 yards and 10 tds. That’s a legit stat line.

Understood. But getting down to 9 contributors for the year is iffy.

Not much of a choice either since Joseph quit. But I think Flott has the better tools right now. Really haven't seen much of Jones laying CB so can't make a descent evaluation of him. Yea, Soni will need to show up. Depth on that dline will be vital in big games, especially a run to, and in, the CFP.

I don’t think we had nine dline contributors in 2011.

Actually went back and counted. We had exactly nine.

Ego, Rasco and Dennis Johnson didn’t play that year

Then strap in tigerfan. Good news.

Here is what we have in 2020. Granted some may not be there.

E
Neil Farrell 6-4 290 sr
Soni Fonua 6-4 275 sr
Joseph Evans 6-2 295 so
----Ali Gaye 6-6 280 jr. (2 to play 2)
----Eric Taylor 6-4 290 fr

NT
Tyler Shelvin 6-3 340
Siaki Ika 6-3 335 so
----Jordan Berry 6-2 330 fr
----Patrick Jenkins 6-2 290 fr

E
Glen Logan 6-4 310 sr
Justin Thomas 6-4 270 sr
Nelson Jenkins 6-4 300 so
----Jaquelin Roy 6-3 295 fr
----Jalen Lee 6-3 300 fr.
----Michael Williams 6-2 280 so. Tx Transfer

Let’s just say that 11 contribute in 2020. You would see 8 upper class men with Roy, Gaye, and a nose tackle contribute.

We would still REDSHIRT 3 dlinemen.

Here is a worst case scenario.
Logan and farrell leave early
Mike Williams becomes a tweener at 260.
Guillory nEver comes even after....
...Ali Gaye, Jordan Berry Get processed.
Eric Taylor goes bama.
.......We are back to 2019’s 8 players on the line. It won’t happen, but that’s the space that Orgeron is giving his line.

If you redshirt that many guys, you’re in a good position.

In my opinion it will be run-on sentence or punctuation.
