Myles Brennan will have a better season than 2018 Burrow. I'd bet a lot of money on that. Of course there will be a drop off from a QB that had the greatest season in CFB history though.

Don't buy the OP's bullshite. Myles Brennan is listed on Heisman trophy lists with odds to win.

Hey, none of these arse clown analysts even mentioned Joe as a top ten Heismann contender. If Myles does his work in the offseason with the returning receivers and the incoming receivers he has a chance to be very good to great in this offense.

I keep seeing articles about next year in ESPN and other places that don’t include LSU as far as being a major title contender.

I think it is too early to worry about this. I think we will know much more about what next year might be like after Jan 20. The roster on LSUsports.net has 33 juniors and at least 3 sophomore eligible players. LSU has seen double digit early declarations in the past. I suspect we will see the same this year.
If every eligible underclassman declares, we will not be a contender.
If none of them declare, we will be a favorite.
The answer will likely be in the middle as Delphit and Chaison are likely first round draft picks. Then the issue will be like every other year.
+ How does the QB develop
+ How do injuries play out
+ Do we get a lucky bounce or two when needed
+ Do the underclassmen develop

Think of the difference on Defense with Tyler Shelvin, Glenn Logan, and Neil Farrell starting versus them all being gone.
Or on OL, Cushenberry, Deculus, and Charles starting versus them all being gone.
These decisions will change the outlook at least as much as Myles Brennan will.

I hope and pray that Myles turns out to be a pretty good QB. I don't foresee him being Joe Burrow good though, but I still think he can be one of the top QBs in the SEC.

I also feel like LSU's wide receiver corps, running back corps, and tight end corps will be some of the best in the country.

I'm guessing the offensive line should be stellar again next season.

While Dave Aranda will have enough elite defensive talent on hand to put together another championship quality defense.

Indeed, I think LSU has an excellent chance to win the SEC West and the SEC again next season.

Finally, I'm guessing that LSU will be a little more balanced on offense next season but still at the same time very good.

Joe Burrow has been so good this year because of his preparation, ability to quickly digest information when the ball is snapped and deliver accurate throws.

Brennan should know how to prepare by now.

Brennan should be able to deliver accurate throws.

Whether or not Brennan can make quick correct decisions remains to be seen.

Lots of big arm QB's cant. I hope he can.

But Burrow has spoiled us this year in that regard. Burrows ability to read db's and make the correct throw has not been seen in a while at LSU.

It seems like all the media types are predicting a major drop off at quarterback next year for LSU

Well to be honest, he could have the second best season at QB in LSU history and there would still be a major drop off.

That’s how good Burrow has been.

Hey Aggressor: Vegas must know he exist.
Brennan is projected in the Top 5 to be in NY next year for the Heisman.

well shite. i’m just saying there are very few people saying he’ll win a heisman. that doesn’t mean he can’t have a great year next year. it will take a pretty bad QB to not have at least a decent year in this system with the weapons we have
