Brady held the play sheet the whole time in the NCG. Never saw E calling anything

He'll do well. He has the smarts and arm talent. He's studied Joe's habits and behaviors. He knows the system and the reads.

No one could replicate what Burrow did this year. It's otherworldly. He doesn't have to.
I am more concerned with our defensive losses. We won't have huge margins of error to lose focus on defense next year.
Regardless, it's all good. Orgeron is building. A step back is expected with our projected losses but it's not going to be precipitous and nothing like the drop off in 2008 after our previous title.

No, I just don't like it when people convert correlation into causation. And I was also subtly making fun of your word use.

All good.

If he can't have success here next year with the talent he will have he won't have it anywhere

Guy is going to impress.

I believe from what he has shown that he has the tools to do the job. He just needs to develop that Kool Killer instinct that Joe Burreaux had and he will be Lights Out !!!

Brennan definitely has the talent, but that statue is an interception machine.

You are missing a few factors. Burrow arrived late and had little time to gel. The gel between QB and receivers is impactful. The receivers improved a ton over last with both routes and fewer drops. The Oline improved dramatically over last year. Their play will greatly influence Brennan's success. E and others have a full year of experience in this new scheme. Brady was good but far from the only factor in our success. Brennan has the talent to do well in this scheme and had a full year of watching it done well. He is going to have a good year.

But Burrow was here in 2018, so was E.

Although I understand your point, my question to you and anyone else is: Did you ever in your wildest dreams think last year that this offense would do what it did this year? I think it has been a dream of all real Tiger fans for many years. But now that it has happened, the confidence is extremely high and that is contagious. Myles Brennan is going to be just fine.

Myles has the talent and mind to do very well. The intangible is whether he has the respect of the players and leadership skills . . . and that cannot be gauged until he is out of Burrow’s shadow and the team is his to lead. More than anything, that is what I hoped he learned from Burrow as it is the foundation for everything else coming together.
