no he didnt.
That dude was untouched off the end and with play action Lee was dead when he turned around.
DOnt make things up.

quote:Absolutely right. It is far better to view these two QBs as having complimentary skills and abilities, and for LSU that means a lot. Drop one into the injury list and then the QB problem is one hit away from catastrophic. Use them both and don't worry about which one is "better" if they are both producing yardage and points enough to win. BTW, the game could have ended at halftime and LSU was already in a comfortable, commanding lead under JL. So...
Be careful what you wish for- you just might get it. I hope to see Mett in mop up duty all season long! My worry is that JL's ankle may cause problems the rest of the year and Mett may be thrown to the wolves

I love Spencer Ware, but he hung Lee out on that play. Lee ate it, didn't turn it over deep like our QB did against one of our cupcakes last year and we lived for another play. I'm sure he got sacked because he was scared...

People you should be worried about our quarterback situation because we may need them all if lee goes down.
I just don't agree with starting Mett right now, especially with JJ looming in the background.

you base your opinion on one half of football; where LSU was playing a vastly inferior opponent
Why does everyone keep harping on the level of competition? I remember last year when LSU's backup QB went against similar competition and really struggled.

Not made up son go back and watch the play lee had enough time to get rid of it and he saw the guy coming pull those purple and gold glasses off.

Drew Brees had a few plays on Thurs night that he got sacked. Are you implying that the Saints should bench him and start Chase Daniel?
Posted on 9/11/11 at 9:29 am to RealityTiger
I didn't say bench him but we do need to be worried if he goes down

What does Lee have and has shown that Mett doesn't after tonight?
Experience.
Lee has won at Florida and Auburn.
Remember Lee beat Mett during the spring training.
Don't worry, we will have Mett starting for 2 more years. You will get your wish.

Let's see what lee does when that same linebacker step in front of his pass and take it back for 6 if that's the case because bans is good enough to stop the run and the pass. Saban is going to blitz the shite lee and you guys need to be really worried he make it that far. He just panicked and froze when that guy sacked him last night and he came up limping after that. People you should be worried about our quarterback situation because we may need them all if lee goes down.
Didn't Lee play against Saban team last year???
You,sir,are an idiot.

The opening drive in the 3rd quarter looked so simple and easy it was relaxing to watch.
Looked just like the three scoring drives in the second quarter.

So the starting QB this year went 9/10 for 133 yds with 1 TD and no INT and you are calling for his starting job ???

JL proven to have a bigger variety of passes.

Why not say we have two vastly improving QBs and be glad to celebrate this, esp. after the last couple of years?
The future is bright. With both qb's.

Please link to a post of mine stating that says JLee shouldn't be starting? My comment was in regards to downplaying Metts performance. You can't have it both ways.

Let's put it this way, I hope Lee leads us to the promise land... But if Mett has to play, for whatever reason, I have no fear...
