has made that money coaching football so for all of you that "think" you know something about football becasue you played on some chickenshit pop warner team or high school team, Coach Miles has forgotten more about football than you will ever know.

I actually disagree with this a bit.

Miles teams have been penalized a lot. The problems on the o5 offensive line were horrendous. But I think Studwara has fixed a lot of that.

I'll take the defensive penalties because up until this year, I think LSU played an all out physical style of football and showed a tremendous amount focus even against lesser opponents.

Somewhere in 2007 spread teams began to take advantage of the defense and I think that's gotten the team to a little lost and they are missing tackles all over the place and no longer playing

We are trending downward and if you do not see it you are not looking....I hope we get it back but I have no confidence in Miles...he does not strike me as a particularly intellegent man...he is charismatic to a degree and that's why he recruits well but his coaching abilities are suspect....

As far as being an elite program goes, we're on life support. Not a whole lot of teams do this poorly after a title.

Oh,yea. Sure. I'm real worried about Alabama and Nick.

For my sake though, please try not to be so silly in your next post.

For the board's sake, why don't you stop acting like some silly little teenager throwing a temper tantrum because you don't like Les Miles.

I know one thing I'll look for and won't be seeing....that's you on this board when we're winning 10-12 games again and there's nothing left to moan about.

there is 7-5 and then there is 7-5. Fifty points by fla and ga, took a miracle to beat Troy, played well against bama, stunk up the joint against ole miss and ark and I mean stunk up the joint....anyone could see there was something wrong with that team. By almost on life support I mean that one more season like this one and we are back to square one...

Wait..wait..remind me, are you talking about LSU under Miles or Saban? I'm confused. Flip a coin I guess.

True, but not a lot of programs win 2 MNCs in 5 years. Or have a coach win 11+ games 3 years in a row. Or go to 9 straight bowl games.

One instance is not a trend, it is an abberration. If it happens again next year, no matter what off-season changes are made, the requiste amount of fire will be beneath Miles' chair. Trust me on that.

I do hope I am wrong and my concerns are sincere. I have two degrees from LSU and have been a fan all of my life...I bleed purple and gold, but I fear we are in for more trouble. If you think this is idiocy you do not know the meaning of the word....

I love listening to these people who think that they could be HC, OC, DC, AD, and even governor. I've asked to have a rantwide poll for a long time. "Did you ever attend LSU?" Ever since we started winning, people have come out of the woodwork to become "fans" of the tigers. Yet we have one bad season (where we go to a bowl game, and o yea, we won a NC last year!), and everyone puts on their espn analyst hat wanting to have Les Miles' job. This will sadly never change, and rantards will still seek the blood of true fans, so I guess we'll just deal with it. I support Les Miles, and will be looking for a west title next year.

I agree with Scoop's post for the most part....but if yall are thru sucking his dick....there still remains the issue of the DC and what LM is prepared to do about it. Fans have a short memory and another 7-5 season (or thereabouts) is really gonna cause the natives to get restless. I'm not willing to suffer thru that again, particularly if he does nothing in respect to the defense. Also, any "recruit" or other muckety-muck who reads this stupid arse rantboard and believes ANY of the shite thats posted on this internet asylum (by a very small fraction of the fanbase I might add)...is the dumbest MF in the world and we don't need or want them here. Good God! Grow a little thicker skin already!!!! JEEEZ!
