Ben Nippolt hit .308 last year at the Division 1 level. He is now at .176 and hasn’t even gotten to SEC pitching. Your theory doesn’t always work.

Ah. A batting average guy

That’s why you went with the Armageddon scenario on why Skenes shouldn’t hit. Makes sense.

I mean, yeah. Florida’s ace has missed the last 7 games because he got injured while hitting.

Nope

And in this argument you’re making, which you failed considerably, LSU shouldn’t let Dylan crews bat because Wyatt Langford got hurt batting.

No, because Dylan Crews is most valuable to this team as a hitting position player. If he didn’t hit, he would provide no value. Also, what was I wrong about with Langford?

That he’s not a fricking pitcher. At all. And he’s considered the second best position player in baseball behind Dylan crews. Hence me making fun of your argument.

The upside of Skenes hitting are not going to outweigh the downside. Y’all just need to accept that. He’s by far our best pitcher, and our bullpen is suddenly not as good as we thought they were. He’s NOT going to make that big of a difference hitting.

Well Dylan Crews most important contribution to this team isn’t on the mound.

If they really needed AB's, they would've gotten more of them before SEC play.

That's simply not true. Guys emerge late all the time especially freshmen. And they wanted Jones to get as many ABs as possible in nonconference because he has the highest ceiling of them all. But with White unable to play 3rd there wasn't much they could do to get those other guys in.

7 inning games didn't help either

Beloso, Travinski, Guidry should all get a shot in the lineup.

Morgan to outfield, beloso to first, Travinski to DH and Guidry to short.

Thompson, Kling, jobert and jones look lost at the plate

Jones is jobert from last season - will hit bomba 1 game then will strikeout every time the next 5 games.

This whole team is a strike out machine. 15 yesterday without Travinski in
