It's allowed but kind of lackluster b/c he approached the wrong crowd.
Seek out students around campus who clearly follow FSU football.
Their reactions would be funny especially if your son tries to convince them it's true. "Finebaum says it's A done deal!"

We are die hard LSU fans, but my son got the chance to interview Charlie Ward in Tallahassee. He wanted to walk around campus before his interview.

It’s a good effort but like mikelbr said asking a bunch of girls who don’t know anything about football and calling them fans is a stretch. If they were dudes wearing FSU jerseys or something, it might be funny.
