My hatred for Alabama...

...is definitely to the point I'd rather a non-SEC team win the NC than see them win it.
Anyone else with me?
I'd swallow my pride and go for any other SEC team in an NC, and yes, even Florida.
But not Bama. I'd glad to see they aren't #1. In fact, if the only game LSU wins for the rest of the year is Bama, I will be satisfied.

I agree, i just hope you're not one of these fans that just started hating them after they hired Saban. Real LSU fans who remember even a little bit of THE CURSE have had them as enemy no.1 for a long time.

This is the type fear like to see people display regarding Alabama. You sound like an Auburn fan not a defending NC.

I grew up next to a Bama fan. He's folks were from Bama and we were like 10 so of course he was constantly trash talking LSU and bragging about Bama. This was back when Bama consistently whipped our asses. My hatred for Bama goes back a long way. I do admit though that it was further increased by Nick Saban. But I have always hated the Bammers

I live in Birmingham and Alabama is easy to hate. There fans are the biggest biggest bunch of red neck a__holes on the planet.

i fricking hate bama. I would never pull for them even before this season or the saban stuff. I don't give a shite about the sec winning if it means bama wins i don't like it.

I agree. I don't understand this at all.
And if this is true that people would be satisfied if we only beat Bama the rest of the year, then I'm just sad at the thought that you consider yourself a Tiger fan.

I've always followed the pull for your conference rule, I just think they should be one exception. The Tiger fan should get to pick the exception, others might have reason to hate Florida more than Bama, because of their personal experience and view of things. But I think each LSU fan should get to pick one SEC team they hate to the point of cheering when they lose to ULM. For me that team is Bama.

Remember Bammer, back in 05 bamma was undefeated and thought they were going to the NC, and LSU was a one loss team. And we were playing you away. And you lost and I so wished I had brought a camera to that game because the look on your fans faces was priceless! JR, TD pass in OT to win! We were down 10-0 at the half, yet you couldn't pull it off.

This is very painful for me to say - but yes, I would pull for USC. If any team in the SEC is going to get a shot at USC for the NC, I want it to be LSU. If it ends up being another SEC team, that might be okay with me, too, but NOT IF ITS BAMA.
My hatred for Bama goes back much further than my hatred for USC.

I've always hated Bama, and yes it did increase with Nick Saban going there. But during our trip to Gainesville, we stopped at three different places in Bama and were treated like absolute shite and criminals...I left that state with quite a bit of rage...
