He wouldn't let go of the ball. He didn't want to make mistakes. And our route trees were horrific for him. When they adjusted the route trees and he got green light / throw the damn ball... fireworks.

He looks very calm for first big road game on TV. Great to see it

A lot of people didnt. He was a completely different player in ‘23. He had a few games where he showed his potential (Ole Miss, Florida, Bama, etc.) but overall he was unwilling to open it up and attack downfield. Once he started doing that he was clearly the best QB in the country and unstoppable. I can’t believe the Bears drafted Caleb Williams over him. Just shows you how stupid NFL people can be. If he stays healthy he will go down as one of the best QBs in NFL history. He is absolutely electric
