Even the odds-makers have made the Tigers the favorites. The last I saw LSU was a 7.5 point pick to beat Iowa.
So it is not just LSU fans that are predicting that the team will win--also playing in the tougher SEC, LSU was 9-3, while Iowa was 8-4, as a Big Ten team.

Nobody knows what Jennings is going to do. He could throw four TDs or he could throw four picks.
What I do know is that Mettenberger pretty much made your season, so my game prediction goes from a pick 'em to advantage Iowa by about 10 points...worse if Jennings plays like a true freshman.

How do you figure MSU and osu are better than LSU? Your conference sucks . Slow teams , no superstars . Osu's D sucks and msu's O sucks . Not a complete team in the conference .

OSU was better than LSU this year, and MSU would probably be a good matchup for the tigers. I think LSU is probably 7-10 points better than Iowa, but it depends on how the defense plays. Not to worried about Jennings, I think the gameplan will be geared toward protecting him.

And this should STILL be good enough to beat this team... However.. I think the WHOLE game will be decieded by IF LSU wants to be there and comes out and plays like it... NO disrespect to Iowa, But they just DO NOT have the quality depth and overall team speed that LSU has...

I'll be back win or lose. You seem to forget your pathetic arse offense that played these past few years. Awesome defense, but holy cow that offense was horrible for the talent you guys purport to get.
The threat of a passing game from Mett gave Hill room to run. Otherwise teams would load up against you just like they did against Jefferson and you'd still have a shitty arse offense.
Please don't respect Mettenberger anymore. He's the best QB you guys have had in maybe your entire history.

You are talking about Jordan Jefferson genius . What does he have to do with this year? LSU historically is way better than Iowa . Talk about our past offenses all you want , those shitty offenses got us into way better bowls than Iowa has ever been in .
