I sounded the alarms about Coach O going into 2021 and I will sound them again. You have to be elite at one thing to have a chance to make a play off. Right now we are not elite at recruiting, coaching, or in game adjustments. We are winning due to our talent advantage on offense, being carried by our wide receivers (8 and 11) and qb. Next year all 3 will be gone. This will get worse over time without drastic changes to recruiting strategy or coaching staff. I think a mid season firing of House and Cooks would send a message that LSU is coming for it all in 2024. Because by year 3 at LSU it is championship or bust. No natty by year 4 and BK will be shown the door!

Your replies are just straight troll jobs. You cherry pick what I say then say oh well you’re being too literal this and that is a fact. Then you say I’m being too vague and then try to speak specifics. It doesn’t work one way for you and another way for me lol. Everything I stated in my last reply was a fact. Go check it since you’re so great at google. I’m correct about all of it you just don’t want to accept that our defense tends to give up more points to our opponents than they usually score on similar talent or even less talented teams. Don’t give me the bullshite of oh Arkansas scored 31 on BYU, at home might I add! I asked you, do you think BYU has the talent that we do? Do you think App State, Umass, and Boston College have the talent that we do? You ignore the actual conversation for your vague questions on who and what is literal or not.

Speights, Zy Alexander, Denver Harris, Aaron Anderson, Chestnut, and Oghoufo have not impressed so far. Jordan Jefferson looked good last night and Swinson has made a few plays.

Speights played hurt before going down. Considering his form last year, give him some time.

Harris has looked very good considering his lack of game experience. I don’t know what you are talking about there. He’s not the problem.

Sam has also been a very good pickup, along with Jefferson and Swinson. And what about Diggs? Really? He absolutely looks the part of an SEC starting RB.

All this said, there are more misses in this portal class than in last year’s, at least initially. I’ll give you that. Hopefully Alexander and Chestnutt can pick it up as the season goes on.

Case in point, right now JJ is at a much higher playing level than Smith on DL

I bet this is just plain wrong. Smith is battling for most of the game, wearing down the offense, and Jefferson comes in, fresh as a daisy, and looks good. Would Jefferson look that good if he was playing against a fresh offensive line?

Otherwise why buy season tickets and fly my family to BR every week to watch and support?

Whoa, are you flying your family from Chicago every home game? That would be impressive fandom.

A regular Casandra, you are.

You have one really good point, that our three studs on offense - Daniels, Nabers and Thomas - will be gone next year. I think it’s likely that we take a small step back next year and don’t win the West. But if Nuss delivers we will be good, because we will have great receivers and a great offensive line.
