Look, they could hand out 40-pound pom poms and it's going to be extremely f*cking loud. They actually gave out towels at the 2000 Tennessee game and the 2012 Bama game, two of the loudest games in the history of Tiger Stadium. I hear what y'all are saying, but those games are proof that when Tiger fans are fired up, the noise levels will be off the charts regardless of what is handed out.

the reason it is so much louder with towels or shakers is that the fans see how incredible it looks and get more excited and yell louder- not just true at LSU but also Penn St, A&M, South Carolina, Georgia, Auburn, Bama, Tenn, ---- LSU is not going to deny 90,000 fans who want this because 50 or so on Tiger Droppings don't

Since Sankey rules on the REC fly, I imagine Sankey will impose a penalty for crowd noise reviewed by Bham and kicking out the LSU fans for a half

Well, let's be honest. The LSU fans usually do a pretty good job of imposing this suspension on themselves already.
