They're coming in with a chip on their shoulder
They're playing with nothing to lose
They're playing with house money
They're playing with an edge to them
They're embracing the underdog role
They're coming in with no fear
Their mindset is it's us against the world
They like having their backs against the wall
Everyone has counted them out except they themselves
They believe they can shock the world
They're a blue-collar, bring your lunch pail to work type of team

And yet, LSU will win anyway

Honestly, they wouldn't be competitors if they weren't coming here with revenge on their minds. I just don't think they have the pitching depth and LSU is just on fire right now.

I don't buy the "chip on your shoulder" idea for this game. Motivation like that I find only helps in preparation and training (for example bama had months to focus on what they would do if they got another shot at us). They haven't had time to do any special preparation since we played them last. Sure they will tweak some things, but their overall preparation and motivation will not be any different since we last played them with the SEC West title on the line. If anything I think if we take game 1 their psyche will be significantly shot and allow for a game 2 in which they are tight and mentally beaten.
