You can't even get a cup of HOT coffee at a baseball game. They served me two cups, both were cold, and didn't even have a microwave to reheat them. The food sure leaves a lot to be desired as well. Not sure where to start on Alleva's Tailgating fiasco.

Tailgating fix is easy:

1) Fix the parking pass lots between Highland and Nicholson. If it has a strip of concrete with 6 spots it is not a fricking pass lot. Keep the gameday fees at the gates and let people park like they used to.

2) Get rid of the Blockparty shite all together. Last year it ended up being used by mostly away fans for the bigger games and was mostly empty for OOC games.

3) Create some type of carnival like atmosphere near the stadium and stop jamming everything in to the PMAC ramps.

No, it gave us cold nacho cheese, workers that looked like they just got out of Hunt and didn't give a frick and Gumbo/vomit fries. They also routinely ran out of water, popcorn, hamburgers, etc. frick that company.

The only free parking is 2 miles from campus. If you're gonna do that, at least have free shuttles running back and forth between campus and the Hayfield like Alabama implements.

You don't even have to offer free parking at all. Not many places have totally free parking anymore. Just have pay access points and run shuttles. Charge $10 per car in the Hayfield but run those smaller Tiger Trax buses. That's what most schools do. Keep charing your $40 per game at the guard shacks but open up campus again to allow people first come first serve. It will allow people without tickets to just come up and tailgate and set up TVs or whatever. That's what made our campus so great on gameday. The amount of people outside of the stadium during the game was quite the sight. Now those spots aren't filled at all.

...Please disregard the concession whiners (who must not eat at a tailgate and expect a 5 course meal at a game) and focus on tailgating.

All tailgating needs are the rules & restrictions that Alleva implemented to be lifted. Then we're good...

This is just not true. Do you mean from the stadium or campus? I park on the corner of highland and S. Stadium for damn near every game. With that being said this is always at like 10am so maybe you are referring to if you are just going to the game.

I was obviously exaggerating, but parking next to river road, way past the baseball stadium is maddening. Not to mention I'm usually carrying beer/ice chest to a spot on campus. It sucks. Used to be able to park much closer.

I kind of agree. Not that I'm opposed to tailgating at all, but I don't really give a shite about making it a "better experience" for people who aren't even going to the game. They aren't paying "customers" of LSU. They're simply glorified loiters that bring more congestion to an already congested area.

Now I think the concessions can be improved. I also think the parking can be improved...FOR TICKET HOLDERS. But I'm not inclined to give any fricks about people just wanting to go out strictly to tailgate.

It's not necessarily the company, it's the people running it. I'm a current supervisor with them and there's no formal training to any of their employees or volunteer groups. A lot of the policies change throughout the year which makes it hard to be consistent. There's currently no warehouse manager so the product request for stands go through two concessions managers with no proper training and no prior experience in their positions. Supervisors then get the blame when management doesn't do their part. I think there will be some changes and I hope it does soon.

I'm probably one of the few people on here that thinks reserved tailgating has serious potential.
