For instance Jamar Chase & trevor lawerence. They will still be playing football when the NFl draft happens. It happens in baseball i know with MLB draft. I hate to bring up these questions but do the top stars play if college football moved to spring leaving little time for NFL camps and end of college football season. Let the down votes begin

I just don’t see how a spring football season works.
As much as it would suck, just cancel it start back like normal fall ‘21.

(Still holding out hope football is played in the fall this year)

Hospitalizations and deaths are not only down, but the curve is flat as a pancake with cases considerably higher than in April.

What are they trying to protect us from?

People who say the curve is flatten don’t understand daily new cases are higher than they have ever been

Hospitalizations are what matter....not cases. Cases are higher because testing is more readily available. So lots of people who wouldn't have even tested in April because of lack of symptoms are getting tested now as they return to work etc and being required. Some of these people are testing positive which makes cases go up. Also they are having to be retested over and over until they get a negative before they can return to work and the stupid CDC is counting every one of those tests as a new case.

Obviously it would affect decisions, it would have wide ranging implications for everyone involved.

Nobody can answer how that would change the plans of any individual players. Only Chase or Lawrence could tell you that.

What will different in the spring regarding the virus?....nothing. Go ahead and play our regular season timeline, or don't play at all.

99.6% survival rate. Hospitals are equipped and ready. Hospitalizations are down, deaths are down. We are seeing spikes now since we locked down so soon. It was always going to happen until a Vaccine was available. It had become a political attack on Trump at this point.

Deaths or hospitalizations don’t matter right now.

Go back to the point that the cases started to increase.

Check the stats again 2-3 weeks after that date. If there is a correlating increase in hospitalizations and death 2-3 weeks after the increase in testing then you know we are headed the wrong way b

If the curve stays flat on deaths and hospitilazatiins at that 2-3 week point then we know there is another explanation for this sudden increase in cases.

I really don't see how we will be able to play an entire season of football in the Spring. With team conditioning being limited at the moment and no telling what else is going to happen in the near future, I just don't see how any teams will be in the shape to play a season of football in Spring type conditions, particularly down here.

I have seen reports of January starts (late January), conference only schedules, and shortened time between end of season and reduced bowls. My question is around the timing...if this season ends in April, would players literally just turn around and report to Summer camps in May and June for an August 2021 season?

Bingo, and Trump is gonna win minimum 40 states. A HELL OF A LOT of people are gonna vote for him on the dl, wait and see.

On the virus, notice how the news never shows the # of recoveries?? PLENTY of people have gotten and recovered from covid WITHOUT going to the doctor. Those are unreported cases. That causes the mortality rate to actually be lower than the officially reported low rates. This has been political from the jump, and the libs will try to push this all the way through the election.

I don't see how playing in the Spring accomplishes any goal. Playing in the Spring means either you have two football seasons in the same year (highly doubtful to see twelve months of continuous college football) or cancel the 2021 fall season which doesn't make any sense either.
