No shite. He was hired by Brian Kelly. Whether he was previously on the staff is irrelevant.
Kelly did not have to keep him. He interviewed him and offered him a job. That's called "hiring"

I know that. You know that. The other poster probably did as well. But instead of going down some obscure tangent that adds no value, just pointing out that Brad was here before CBK and it is more accurate to say he was "retained" at LSU than "hired."

It goes back to the post I replied to where someone asked if Olson was hired by Kelly.
I replied that all the coaches were hired by Kelly and someone else started this whole Brad Davis BS.
Kelly is responsible for ALL the hires and he should get credit or blame for them.
Whether someone was hired or retained is just a way to dilute credit or blame.
