I don't have an opinion on BDP b/c I don't have facts upon which to base that opinion.
I've seen the article which is facially implausible based on the exclusion of folks ON THE SAME STAFF who I KNOW to be among he best recruiters.
Call me a nitwit, but just because things get repeated over and over doesn't make it convincing.
That's why I asked the question.
Drunken provided some information, mentioning Peveto's name is hardly convincing to me that his efforts made a difference.

There are no questions about his ability to recruit - and recruit for LSU.

I doubt you can be convinced then, because every recruit has contact with more than one coach. Every recruit he contacts can be said to like coaches other than BDP more than BDP. If you KNOW for a fact that other recruiters are among the best, ask those coaches and they will tell you BDP is an outstanding recruiter and a hard worker on the trail.
He is not a very good ST coach.
