Oh absolutely we don't. Us crushing Va. Tech like that, and their continued success deep into the season heavily contributed to our going to the ship.

Back when folks would argue we need to schedule all cream puffs OOC I'd always point to this game. That convincing win against a quality opponent kept us high in the rankings even though we crapped the bed against lesser teams twice.

but we were undefeated in regulation

2004 LSU at Florida is still one of my favorite games.

2006 LSU at Tennessee is another one that comes to mind.

2001 Arkansas at LSU is probably my favorite game outside of Championships in LSU history. Our family was in Mexico and we jumped in the pool everytime we scored. Great memory.

2001 SEC Championship Game, and 2002 vs. Florida.

2001 - Several injuries to key players vs. #2 Tennessee, who could have gone to the BCS Championship with a win. Travis Daniels forwent a redshirt because he was needed.

2002 - Dominant win vs. Florida in Gainesville. Major program-building win.

LSU vs USC 1979. probably one of the greatest games ever played in Tiger Stadium. Even though the scoreboard showed we lost we definitely beat them on the field. I think it was the game that showed the country we could play with anyone especially against what was probably the greatest offensive line in the history of college football. Nobody wanted to play us after that game.
