Its called inevitably. We were 3-5 in the SEC last year, and I see about 3-4 losses this year. That is called a downward trend for those who didn't take stats in college while Bama, au, and arky are making upward trends in the conference. take your head out of the sand.

One of my favorite quotes from The Matrix... "Do you hear that, Mr. Anderson? It is the sound of inevitability?"

Know what happened next? The agent got his booty totally kicked and splattered by Neo. "My name is Neo!"

The point is that one's perception of inevitability is often not the same as what is really going to happen.

With the talent, LSU should have more production on Offense...Period.

I love people who type "Period" after their sentence because they think it makes them correct.

The fact is that LSU has legitimate shortcomings in the two most important offensive positions (QB and OL). To make the statement that you made ignores that. When you have below average play at both QB and OL, this is what you get.

Now, if you want to blame Miles for allowing the situation to get to this point, I'd say you have a very valid point. But, you aren't doing that. Instead, you place all of the blame on the gameday coaching because that's simple enough for you to comprehend.

Right now, we're fighting real issues at QB and OL. QB could take care of itself over time. I suspect that our OL issue isn't going to fix itself without other players (some who right now aren't ready) being injected into the lineup.

His statement does not ignore that. LSU most definitely has the talent to be better offensively. However, we are not performing like that. That is where the frustration is coming from. We have enough talented people to be better.

who don't know crap about leadership, developing a team over the course of a season, and the recipe for winning in sports or business. We are in the Top 10, respected around the country, will beat Auburn and Tulane and go into T-Town 7-1 with a chance to win and porably the 7 PM featured game of the week on ABC or CBS. These are good times and the comments on this board make it appear that our program and season is in the condition of FSU, MI, GA, TN, OK, UCLA, WV.... all teams with multiple losses. We have work to do on offense, no doubt, and I have concerns about Crowton -- not Miles, not Chavis. For God sakes, enjoy this season -- it has the potential to be a great one, and most all of our teams over the last 50 years were not as good as this won. Man up and get behind the team instead of trying to tear it down. How do you feel when your boss and/or customers do nothing but tear you down personally. Makes you feel good and improves your work? I don't think so.

Damn that got me fired up and I'm a Bama fan, awesome post

And I'm pretty sure a lot of the naysayers were predicting a loss at Georgia.

A loss??? The "predicting", by some of them, was more like we would get creamed by both Ga and Fla.

Now, it's that beating Ga in Ga was not a worthy win. Much the same as what was said bout beating Washington in Washington. Let's just overlook the fact that USC couldn't beat Washington in Washington, it's still not a worthy win.

Also, you notice how a win over a non-worthy Washington or Miss St or Ga on the road gets no credit, but a loss to the #1 team in the land for like 2 yrs running is terrible and means you need to start playing two QB's or your OC stinks or the season is over or how much longer will we be forced to live with Coach Miles!

I just have to wonder why the rush to be miserable on the part of some, but each to our own.
