Haven't read all of the responses, but going to mention one that is likely off most fans' radar:
Leonard Founette @ Syracuse, 2015
26 carries for 244 yards, which at the time was the second best rushing performance by a Tiger.
He had a 87 yarder pulled off the board because one of our WRs was lined up illegally in the backfield.
If that run had stood, he would have had 331 yards rushing. Nobody would be close to that number.

Which back in 1977 was absolutely unheard of for a WR. Every catch was a TD. Averaged 40 yards per catch. Dont think anyone has ever come close to that.

CharleyLake offered: All are good ones. I would like to include Todd Kinchen v. A & M during the 1990 season.
So glad you mentioned Todd. That was one memorable game. A field-crossing 80-yard TD on a flare pass and then another long put return were things of beauty.

I bet Billy Cannon with today’s training methods and nutrition, etc. would be an All-American linebacker or (one huge) strong safety.
Insanely fast and strong in his day and big — 6-1, 215 or so. Could easily carry 240 today with speed (9.4 seconds, 100 yards). Think an even more athletic Devin White.
