The record is 8 by Marcus Allen in 1981. Does Fournette get 8?

He's got to get one tomorrow. He'll have to get one against A&M. We have another cupcake. I don't know. It will be tough.

I have a gut feeling that Buga will break Alleys record tomorrow.

Bama is the only game that I honestly do not think it is a possibility. I think if he goes for 150 and 2 tis against bama we have a good game. He should have 200 against SC, the cupcake after UF, A&M, and Ark. Comes down to what he does against OM and Bama. It's possible, but not likely, especially if by some act of god we get the passing game going.

You have to assume he'll get 200 against Western KY, and A&M and Arky are probably his best chances to get a couple more... If he goes for 200 against UF, Bama and OM then I like our chances in those games.

ETA: Crap, I completely forgot about SC... I think he'll get his 200 tomorrow. So I'm thinking, at minimum, he gets 3 more...

Missing that first game really hurt his chances.

Well if we get to the SECCG odds historically have been we won't play UF there.
UGA gave up 150 to Henry so it's possible, and I think he'd have a really good shot against any other east team.

Then college football playoffs are a possibility. There won't be anyone there much better than what we've already faced (defensively) and he will have to have put up 200 already against those teams for this to be a possibility.

Alabama is like any other team. I know there D is good, and their team came together last week. But, they will have a rough time against big opponents like LSU, TAMU, Miss St., Auburn, and Arkansas could be a trip up game. Alabama will still have growing pains, they just happen to play the best game they played so far this season against an opponent like Georgia. But, Georgia had not played a team like Alabama. They had not played a team from the West which is filled with great teams. LSU being the best this year. He will get his 200 yards, but it will obviously be tough runs, with some home runs mixed in there...

He'll run for 200 or more against SC, WKU, OL MISS,Fla, ARK, AGGIES AND BOWL GAME. Chubb ran for over 150 against bama....its' a 50-50 chance he runs for 200 against tide...only way he doesn't blow these records away is if, he doesn't get the touches...and I think he probably will not later in the season because the passing game will improve and needs to for LSU to contend this year. So imo, he has three 200 plus now...he gets 200 ag SC....he had nearly 140 against Fla last year....arky doesn't have the defense it had last year...Ol Miss looks vulnerable...The Aggies....please: soft underbelly... all of these plus the bowl, imo...six more 200 plus for nine, at least....UNLESS Miles reduces his touches....and that is a possibility with improving balance in the passing game.

Hard to believe that record doesn't belong to Barry Sanders until you see he owns the record for 300 yd games in a season - 4!
