Converse was good too.

2 wasn’t terrible. Lots of corners bite on a double reverse flea flicker. Lol.

Except for the double pass their long/TD passes had good coverage - were just better passes with great catches.

Even on the flea flicker S, I forgot which one, almost made it. If he'd had looked back he might have made a play on the ball. Maybe.

But Gardner was all over them and physical for sure. I was surprised actually. They did cover well one-on-one.

Once again I think our zone in the mid-range suffers from bad handoffs. Either guys don't track in their zone, or they track all the way into another zone. Not the happy medium.

Being able to tackle them out of that zone before they got 5-7 yds after the catch made for an excellent 3rd down conversion % by for FSU.

They covered all the deep passes down field well. The defense as a whole gave up a lot mostly due to the soft zone scheme.

Usually played a soft zone when rushing 5-6. DL has to make tackles on QB when blitzing. Their QB was hard to get but can’t cover wide outs all night and keep an eye on a running QB. Tackles have to be made.
