Not to be a Debbie Downer... but.
LSU just lost Gilbert. Texas might have an OC/DC opening with more resources. Bama has an OC opening.
Also, 3 top recruits which we had in tow at different points this season are choosing other schools.
Is it noon yet? I need a beer.

Leigh, Gilbert and Foreman.
Foreman was a known known.
Gilbert and Leigh.. LSU competed against until the end. We lost.

Easy there tiger. I’m not miserable. Just been an interesting morning for tiger fans.
When you lose you best recruit from last year, your 2 most coveted recruit from this year.
And the coaching carousel got a lot more complicated..

We’ll be fine.
Recruits come and go. LSU did what they could to land them.
Watching the young talent on the field against Florida and Ole Miss to end the season and seeing the guys that want to be at LSU that signed with us makes me smile because because it means LSU is in good shape for awhile.

You live in fricking Iowa... one of the most boring states in this whole country.... the only good that has come out of Iowa was when I was ten years old we went for a trip there with my dad on business. We were pulling the boat on to the trailer and I caught a fish at the same time......

Apparently from what has been posted here we may be better off without Gilbert. As great of a recruit and good of a player he has been, he has issues that we may not need in our program. I hate losing talent of his potential but sometimes there are other considerations than what you see on Saturday or Sunday.
