1. Our flight from Houston to Pittsburgh on Friday was about 70% LSU fans decked out in colors. The flight back on Sunday was about the same. Always nice to see such a great LSU showing on the road

Wouldn't happen to be the Continental flight that left around 4:48pm?!

We were on the CO 10:15am, however I'm sure it happened all day. I tried to standby for the first two CO flights from PIT to IAH on Sunday and those flights were also 70-80% LSU (as was the 2:41pm).

As for the language upon arrival, there were two kids, which were arrested, going into classes yelling profanities and tiger bait on Friday, so as you can imagine this fired up most of the students...

Obviously, you was a English major at WVU.

I flew back home on Monday with a layover in Dulles. As we were boarding, one of the guys said, "Man, you LSU guys can travel! I've been working all weekend & all I've seen is purple & gold!". Made me proud!

My 21 year old brother lives in Pittsburgh so I bought him a ticket to the game. While seated in a WVU section, he started chatting with people around him. This included a group of college age white girls behind him.

As the conversation progressed a 300 pound man with a skullet (bald mullet), so fat he needed a cane to walk turns to the girl and says "you need to watch out for dem ni**er babies you get to close and youll wind up with a ni**er baby." He continued doing this throughout the first half before he was escorted out of the stadium by other WVU fans and security.

The only thing holding my brother back was his desire to see LSU play, something he never gets to do. I am horrified he had to sit through this just to watch an LSU game.

I know every college has their degenerate trashy fans but the stories I have been hearing from Morgantown go way beyond any "abuse" tiger fans get in the south east. I hope to never set foot in that state and pray to God that the SEC powers that be do not even give WVU even passing consideration on joining.

There are a ton of LSU fans in Pittsburgh. We traveled down from there with about 20 of us and had a great time tailgating in the Coliseum lot and hanging out with some WVU fans as well... 95% of all the WVU fans were nice, patting us on the back, buying us beers, etc... but the 5% that were a$$holes you will find anywhere.

Had a great time and only had to deal with two bad fans...

Cool video. Brave as shite. Panning up and down on one of the female WVU fans probably got the beer thrown on you.

Sorry you encountered this.
Had a host up there and got in on Wed nite.
Went out every single day and nite, and never experienced anything too vulgar.
Got a couple "F u's", but just responded with "Keep it classy W Virginia". It shut them up.
My buddy and I went through the union on thurs and fri, and tiger baited them...to no response at all. Went to the bar below the union (2 buck beers), and had a great time.
A guy in the stadium harassed me, and tried to drunkenly kick me (I drunkenly stepped to the side), and two of his friends came down and each bought me a beer...saying "That's not how we do it here/thats not right".
Went to house parties afterwards. No problems at all.

"Oh, those are the kids from Jersey." Seems they have a large population from the "Garden" State

While this really annoys me that Jersey shore floods WVU's campus for the Spring and Fall semester...its definitely something to think about when considering the NY/NJ television market huh?
