More Prayers Needed

Ranters, please send your thoughts and prayers towards my family this week. I lost my Dad Tuesday morning @ 6:45 and the wake begins this evening with the funeral tomorrow
This prayer request is not for me, it's for my Mom. You see, my Mom and Dad have been married 64 years (May 6th, 1944). These two have NEVER been apart and it is really tough for her right now. It is without a doubt tough on me as well but it's not nearly as difficult for me as for her. My mom is now 81, is a stroke victim with lower body paralysis and battling the onset of Alzheimer's. This will be an especially trying time since my wife and I are both only children. No siblings to lean on.
My Dad was 87, a WWII Army Air Corps veteran (1942 - 1946), former marshall in the student section at TS and all around huge Tiger Fan. We had very little in common due to our huge age difference (43 years - I was adopted) but he had a huge impact on me regarding how I live my life and how I treat others. When you bend your knee tonight or Sunday at church, please keep my Mom and Dad in your prayers.
Godspeed Dad - I love and miss you dearly.

May God's grace be your sufficiency at this time. I, too, understand--my Dad lost his wife (my Mom) after nearly 54 years of marriage in 2004. My Dad still grieves--it's not easy to get over. He does find the grace of God sufficient. I will be in prayer for you and yours. Find God's glory in all of this.
