Yeah, that'll teach them. Am I doing this right? Pull scholarships now and lose all future black recruits who are affected by these issues.
What are athletes going to do once NFL, NBA. and college sports are destroyed?
Seriously, what is more important, sports or peoples, lives, incomes?
Would you go to an LSU game if a "Peaceful" riot was in progress?

Criminal history doesn’t matter. Resisting arrest is not a death sentence.
And people are angry about much more than Blake. Breonna Taylor for example was sleeping in her home when cops bust into the house and killed her. But no officers have been arrested. There are too many other examples of police using unreasonable force on blacks. It has to stop.
This.
Cops should not be judge, jury, and executioner.

This is a simple fix. If you skip practice or any other activity suspend them from the team. Doesn't matter if it's the star qb. They don't like it, quit. Somebody will be willing to take that scholarship. I'd rather watch a bunch of guys willing to play without all the political b.s. than watch a bunch of terrorist supporters.

Don't be surprised if other teams (including LSU) boycott a practice.
I was one of the most critical of the Orgeron hire, but he has done an excellent job at getting his team to block out the outside noise and focus on football from day 1.
It might happen, but the State boycott screams a team and a coach that are not on the same page. I'm sure Leach is kicking himself for taking that job right now. I don't see the same disconnect with LSU. Last years team completely bought in. It looks like this years team has as well.

This is only the beginning....boycotts will be a part of our culture! Sad, but true.

You’re right, but politics have been brought into the game, so.......

Yea, let’s buy some Goodyear and Nike! Damn, y’all are so out of touch with what people care about it’s frightening. Just shut up for once in your damn lives and listen to what people are saying. There wouldn’t be need for any of this.

who says our fine young men won't decide to boycott?

He did NOT have a knife in hand. He was walking away from the police, and as soon as he opened his door, the cop shot him 7 times in his back.

So everytime a black person gets shot, injured, or killed that is justified, this shite is going to happen? Whats the end goal here?

Fact. Tired of ALL sports being judge & jury based on snippets of information. Have no problem “canceling” them all.

False. He walked through a tazing, said he had a knife in the car, went to said car, opened the door, bent down to get the knife he said he had, which was found in the floorboard, and then was shot. What exactly were the cops expected to do at that point? Are they supposed to wait to be stabbed first?
As for Breona Taylor, it's sad and unfortunate but also was a mistake not maliciously intended. A no knock warrant was being served, another discussion for another day, and her boyfriend, who just so happened to not be the man the police were looking for, came at the police with a gun. The cops let shots go. Unfortunate for sure and likely criminal in the sense of wrongful death but not malicious. The police did not go to that house with the mindset of " let's go kill us some black folks tonight." That's what's being portrayed by 5uemedia when it's absolutely false. Just so happens that Breona Taylor, while innocent in this occasion and wrongfully killed, did have a history of allowing drugs to be delivered to her home. Not exactly the model citizen of sainthood.
Spoiled athletes with every advantage in the world handed to them are not the people to be running around admonishing privilege. The poster child, LeBron James has always thought he was above the rules and treated as such. That is privilege. Last I checked the privileged have no color. Just a different set of rules.

Lol wtf. Scary you're taking what those guys did today. And even comparing it to what is going on around the country. Jacobs Stevens has been a model kid, waited bid turn etc. You don't think that kid has never experienced racism?

The facts that he was shot 7 times? They didn’t even attempt to tase him. They could have just shot him in the leg. If he was white, he wouldn’t have been shot 7 times or shot at all!
