i find it highly hypocritical that men cant have sports because of title ix, but women can play on the mens teams that prevent other mens team from existing. there is a huge flaw in the system if she's allowed to legally tryout.

wow...good point

i seriously doubt thats how the rule is written.

what rule? I just skimmed the NCAA manual, the sport is referred to as "Football" and I didn't see any mention of gender in determining eligibility to participate.

but you're not a woman, which is a requirement of participation in that sport. This is football, not men's football.

It's funny that some of you can't grasp the concept of playing up and playing down to competition. What you are describing is essentially saying that you (I assume you are at least 18) should be allowed to play in a tea-ball league for 4-6yo.

true, and after reading this thread there probably is a case for some of the posters here playing women's sports, since so many apparently have sandy vagina syndrome...

being physically or mentally challenged is a requirement of the special olympics participant

Assuming you qualify to be a college athlete,

You are suggesting being physically capable in ability is a requirement of football

meanwhile in women's sports that is not the requirement, it is being physically capable in ability and having a vagina

It is not equality you want, it's fairness
