Not years. Year (2015). We ranked 68th that year.
2016 we were 7th and 2017 we were 5th I believe.

know I'll get downvotes on this comment, but the draft goes to show, in my opinion, what kind of talent level CPM has recruited in recent years
I know this is crazy, but outside of the top 3 rounds or so, the MLB draft isn't really a great measure of talent. Guys get drafted for different reasons. Signability is a huge factor.

And they start reaching on raw HS kids.

JJ Scwarz pick 233....
Glad we never have to see him again, feels like it’s been 10 years

I would have alot of money if I bet he would be the first LSU player taken
Posted on 6/5/18 at 4:11 pm to LSUGoose
Did NOT see that being the first Tiger

wow...you got to think Hess, Watson and Duplantais are all back.
This also means ALOT of people will be asked to leave

Don’t forget that if a Junior negotiates, he has leverage. Once he becomes a senior, he gets whatever he is offered or he applies for a job at Wendy’s. That plays a huge factor for some players taken late like if Duplantis is taken anywhere between 11-20 rounds, he could possibly leave but I doubt it

levi kelly picked (LSU commit)

Easily have 3-4 recruits that could have been drafted already and are still not. That’s great for us and hopefully means we will be building a phenomenal team for 2019

josh336 is saying in the other thread that Kelly is a goner.
Damnit.
Damnit.

Kelly gone? In the 8th round? Then this kid has some bad advisors. He will sign for maybe 125,000 over two years and then be stuck in minors
Or he comes to LSU and gets taken in the first round in 2021 draft
Or he comes to LSU and gets taken in the first round in 2021 draft

Kelly was reported that if he got drafted he was going. If we can keep the others, we will be just fine
Posted on 6/5/18 at 4:21 pm to lsu002100
Through 8 rounds, Nick Bush and Levi Kelly are only two off the board today.
Posted on 6/5/18 at 4:21 pm to TheCaterpillar
Watson just had a soph slump. He still has leverage next year as a jr. if he plays like he's capable of playing.
Posted on 6/5/18 at 4:23 pm to lsu002100
D-Backs took two SR’s in the previous two rounds, they’ll have money for him too.
Posted on 6/5/18 at 4:24 pm to tadelatt
You gotta think Hess or Watson go in this round
