but the revisionist history here is ridiculous.

Miles’ inability to adapt was frustrating as hell but not sure how saying ‘It was a lot of winning’ is revisionist. The numbers are what they are…dude won a shite ton of games at
LSU

I wish someone would pay me 10 mil a year to be a dumbass and receive the ball after the toss and then just run an offense I found off ncaa 2025... would be really grand.

Think about it... 700k a game, each play we run is like 7k++ in coaching salary. uuuhhh run it up the middle on 2nd and 10 - ca ching!

So you miss tons of wasted talent and below average to average at best QB play?

I sure as hell don’t

I do miss the hard nosed hit you in the mouth elite defenses of the Miles era though.

I miss the toughness and the way he expressed his self I dont miss the sabin worshippers stabbing our coach in the back and then complaining when sabin took some of our best recruits !

Kelley acknowledged that he was hired to compete for the Natty . Not to do “ OK “ and have the world’s highest graduation rate . No . To compete for the Natty . Not just show up .

I for one don’t miss that arrogant dumbass.

I do wish we’d run the ball like we did then though.

I miss the caliber of players, but I don't miss the idiocy on the sidelines.

Les was dead to me after 21-0. We scored 6 points in regulation and he wanted to stick to the plan for round 2
